Wounds, Draining Wounds, and Fistula Care Interventions
All of our staff is highly trained and experienced in advanced wound care. Our staff can assist patients and caregivers by educating them and assessing progress in healing wounds. We work with physicians to create a plan of care that best meets the health, lifestyle, and financial needs of the patient.
- Assessment of patient risk factors and possible etiology of skin breakdown
- Recommendation to a physician of appropriate products and modalities to provide an optimal wound healing environment
- Provide wound care and design a care plan and education, including prevention of further skin breakdown.
- Fit appropriate pouching system or wound product to draining wounds/fistulas for containment of discharge and skin protection.
- Staff certified in negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT).
- Digital photo technology to document wound assessment for patient charts, staff case conferences, and updates to physicians.
